Kara in the Kitchen

While Mom was out, I asked Kara to make supper. She was only too happy to get things rolling. She made Mac and Cheese for the family. 

While the water was coming to a boil, I heard her in the kitchen going crazy yelling, "Dad, come fast! Dad, come fast!" The water was boiling so much that it was about to overflow the pan. She thought for sure the kitchen was going to blow up. I showed her how to turn the heat down and that calmed her down.

Once everything was made, she served everyone in the family and served herself last. She was just beaming with pride.
