Tires

While driving through Iowa, I noticed that the steering wheel was bouncing all around. It had been bouncing for some time so I decided to stop at a repair shop.

The man came out and took a look at my tires. He told me that the tires were completely worn and that the belt in one of them had split. It was time for two new tires.

When I got ready to leave, he wanted to charge me $3.50 to dispose of each tire. I told him that I would prefer to keep the tires. He said that was not a problem so I loaded the bad tires in my trailer.

When I got home, I told the kids, "Hey, I got you each a tire that you can play with." Brody and Kara were out the door in a second checking these things out.

Brody flipped his on the side and started rolling it down the hill. Kara on the other hand saw the tire as a nice place to sit and flip through her book.

Chasity noticed how each of them was using the tire and pointed it out to me. A little while later Chasity pointed something else out to me. She said, "The tires are filthy and the kids are black from head to toe."

Well, it was a great idea...we will just have to give them baths more often I guess.

As Chasity was getting the kids ready for the dentist, she put some nice clothes on them. As soon as they were outside, they went for those tires. When Chasity saw what they were doing, she quickly wanted me to do something about it. When I saw Brody, his hands were already black. I told them to go wash their hands right away.

Kara and Brody both bounced into the house and cleaned up and were off to the Dentist.
