As parents you oftentimes run into situations that can be a little embarrassing; however, they are still funny when looked at from the right perspective.
On Friday night Chasity really wanted to go out to eat. I asked her, "Where would you like to go?" She looked at me and I could see she had a list already in her mind. She said, "I would like to go to Outback or Charleston's."
After some discussion, Charleston's won and off we went. The kids were loaded up into the car with Jordan in his car seat, Kara and Brody in their booster seats.
As soon as we got there, Brody flipped the sugar bowl with all its packets on the table and started playing. Those little sugar packets can be a lot of fun!
After dinner Chasity and Kara went outside while Brody was cleaning up his sugar packet creation. As they were leaving, Kara noticed an elderly woman who was standing against the door.
Kara went over to the side and said, "Dear Lord, please help the scary lady to go away! Dear Lord, please help the scary lady to go away!"
Chasity heard Kara and asked, "Where is the scary lady at?" Kara immediately pointed at the elderly lady who was leaning against the door. Right after that Brody and I came walking out of the building. I guess that was an answer to Kara's prayer because we left shortly after that.
