Mr. Man

Kara, Brody and I decided to go on an adventure and walked to a nearby park. Brody rode his Big Wheel and I pulled Kara in the wagon

Along the way, Kara saw an older man working in his yard and asked me his name… I picked Kara up out of the wagon so we could walk together.

I told Kara that I didn’t know his name but Kara kept insisting on the name of the man in the yard.

I finally said his name was “Mr. Man.”

Kara was satisfied with this answer.

Kara then asked, “Does Mr. Man know about Jesus?”

I said, “I don’t know…”

We were almost to the park by this time and Kara wanted to go and ask Mr. Man if he knew Jesus. Brody had already made his way to the park and was all the way down by the water. I thought we better go keep an eye on him…. anyway… I asked Kara, ”What would you tell him if he didn’t know Jesus?

Kara said “If you don’t believe in Jesus then you can’t go to heaven!”

I was so touched at her answer! We talked for a little while longer about heaven and what we thought it would be like.

We finally caught up with Brody down by the stream who decided to jump in the creek with his shoes on! Unfortunately, we will have to buy a new pair of shoes…
