Chick-Fil-A

With August 1st being Chick-Fil-A day, my wife and I decided we would head on over and join the crowd and get some meals for the family. 

As we traveled down the road, we noticed that there was a lot of traffic on the streets.  When we got to Chick-Fil-A, there was a line of cars that ran about six blocks just to get to the parking lot!!  

Chasity and I looked at each other and neither of us wanted to wait in that long line.  We decided we would go later in the day once the big rush was over.  After church, we headed back to Chick-Fil-A.  

When we pulled up, the store looked closed and the parking lot was completely empty.  A police officer was standing in the road.  

I asked the officer, "Did they run out of food?"  The officer said, "They have completely run out of food.  They don't have anything left including brownies, ice cream or lemonade.  In other words, there was nothing left that we could buy from Chick-Fil-A as they had completely sold out.

Chasity looked at me and said, "Praise the Lord!"
