Big Dipper

Jordan has always been an observer of life and he catches on fairly quickly by simply watching others do things.  One of those things he observed was watching people dip things.

When he was a one year old, he noticed that people were dipping their fries in the ketchup so he wanted some ketchup.  A couple months later he noticed that a person could dip their chicken in the honey mustard. He has been dipping things ever since.

As we were sitting down tonight I noticed Jordan had a bread stick.  I asked him, "Jordan, that bread stick looks good.  Do you want some sauce to dip your bread stick?"

Jordan looked at me and I could see he was ready to stick his bread stick in the sauce.  He was really excited about it and was grinning from ear to ear.

A few minutes later I looked and noticed that he had taken the lid off his cup.  He had been drinking lemonade that night.  I thought that was a little strange; however, then I noticed he took his bread stick and stuck it in the lemonade.  He did this several times.

I asked Jordan, "Does that taste good?"  He look at me and vigorously shook his head up and down.  Jordan clearly is a big dipper.
