Jordan was running a fever of 103.7 so Chas and I decided that it was time to go to the doctor. As we were all getting out of the van, Kara came up and told me that Cutie, her stuffed lamb, needed to see the doctor too.
I said, "Kara, what is wrong with Cutie?"
Kara said, "Cutie has a fever and needs to see the doctor."
Chas had told Kara that she could take her stuffed animal in to see the doctor. She babied her stuffed lamb until we got into the doctors office.
Kara having seen her mother check the kids in previously marched right up to the nurses station.
The nurse asked, "How are you doing today."
Kara said, "His name is Cutie, He has a fever."
Chas rushed over to me to tell me what had happened. She thought it was just so adorable that Kara had checked Cutie in.
Chas said, "That is what I do, I will say the kids name and tell them what problem they are having."
They finally called Jordan's name so we went back into their little room and waited.
When the doctor came in, he checked on Jordan to see how he was doing. We first saw a student doctor before seeing the actual doctor.
After Jordan had been looked at, Kara rushed Cutie over to the doctor and told him that Cutie had a fever too.
The doctor picked up Cutie and used his instruments to look into his ears. He then checked his heart beat.
The doctor stated, "It looks like your stuffed animal is getting better now. I think he is going to be alright."
Kara grabbed her stuffed animal and went and sat next her Daddy with a look of satisfaction.
I said, "Aren't you happy that Cutie is going to be alright!"
Kara justed looked at me and said, "Cutie still has a fever."
As we were leaving, Chas said that Jordan would need some Strawberry Bannana Juice from the store. Kara looked at me and said, "Cutie needs a drink too."
Later, I got Kara and Brody a .59 drink from Walgreens. However, I never saw Cutie take a single drink. :)
