Venus Flytrap

Brody has been exploring all of the plants in our backyard. As he was on an adventure, he found a Venus Flytrap.

He was so excited that he decided to pull it out and put it in this glass jar. He has been carrying it around the house like a prize he has won.

Chasity noticed that when he pulled the plant out of the ground that he failed to pull the root out of the ground. Chas said, "Brody, that plant will die if it doesn't have a root!"

Brody after hearing this news was a little concerned. He went back outside for awhile and Chasity sort of forgot about the situation.

A little while later Chasity was checking on him and found Brody had come up with a plan. Brody was holding a root and and some tape. Brody had gone out and found another plant and cut of the root off. He was in the process of trying to tape the root onto his Venus Flytrap.
