My place of employment had sent me for training where I was learning how to adjust properties and cars. I had to spend three weeks sitting in a class room listening to the teacher drone on about different repairs.
On the third week, Chasity and the kids had traveled to Missouri to stay in the hotel with me. We were staying in a hotel that had a swimming pool, breakfast and supper everyday and Chucky Cheese was right around the corner.
Everyday after training, we would visit the swimming pool and go swimming. Every night we would fill up on popcorn from the popcorn machine in the lobby. The kids were living large in their minds.
When it was time to leave, they all started crying because they had so much fun in that hotel. I told my wife, "We didn't even have to go to Branson because the kids loved the hotel so much."
I think the real reason they had so much fun though is because they were with their Mom and Dad. After being gone for two weeks, they had missed me terribly and now they had an awesome reunion where they got to do a ton of fun stuff too.
