Can I hold you?

Jordan is at the age where he is really into guns.  He has three of them that he likes to carry around.  He tends to shoot at everyone he sees.  My wife got him into the Rifleman which is a T.V. show that Jordan really enjoys.  He now uses his gun to shoot the bad guys.

One of the games I play with Jordan is the 'hold me' game.  I will say, "Jordan, I want to hold you."  At hearing this phrase, he takes off.  When he ran off today, he came back a little bit later holding one of his guns and started shooting at me.  I said, "Jordan, I want to hold you."  After I said that I took a few steps towards Jordan who proceeded to shoot me.  I staggered back a few steps like I had been shot.  After a second or two, I said, "Jordan, I want to hold you."  I took a couple more steps towards Jordan who shot me again.  I staggered back a few steps once again.

Jordan now realizing that shooting me resulted in me staggering back a few steps took off running.  He stopped a short distance away and said, "Dad, come get me."  As I started to head off in his direction, he shot me again.
