Chasity and I have lived in this rental now for over a year and we have always hated the carpet in the kids room. We decided we were going to fund the replacement of the carpet so we could warm up their rooms. In addition, Jordan was ready to move into the Toddler bed and share a room with Brody so Kara was able to move to her own room.
After we installed the carpet, I went and got some paint and painted the walls in her room pink. She was thrilled because she dreamed of the day when she would have her own bedroom. It was a big job as I forgot how much work painting is!!
Kara sat in her room all day and played afterwards. She doesn't have to share her room with her brothers anymore. In fact, she stated, "NO BOYS are allowed in my room now because the walls are pink!"
